As we all know color is light and as such it enters through our eyes. It is visible because it reflects, bends, and refracts through all kinds of particles, molecules and objects.
Color is also energy penetrating our skin and causing chemical reactions within our body which can in turn influence emotions. This explains why we label colors with terms denoting affect such as “sad” colors, “happy” colors, or “calming” colors.
“EMOTIONALIZING” COLORS
Warm colors often evoke feelings of happiness, optimism and energy. they include red, orange and yellow. are next to each other on the wheel and are all warm colors.However, yellow, red and orange can also have an attention grabbing effect and signal danger or make you take action.Cool colors are usually calming and soothing but can also express sadness. They include green, purple, and blue.The brighter and lighter a color, the more happy and optimistic it will make you feel.. They include bright colors like pastel colors, yellow, pink and even red.They are colors that usually dampen the mood. they include black, grey, brown and beige. Note: black is the color of mourning in the West, but in the East it is white.They are colors that inspire calmness and stillness. They include pastel colors with a cool tone such as baby blue, lilac and mint, but also neutral colors like white, beige and grey.They are colors that grab your attention and stand out from your surroundings. They include royal blue, turquoise, magenta, emerald green, bright red, bright yellow and neon green
